Sister Death

“Praised be You, my Lord, through our Sister Bodily Death, from whom no one living can escape. Woe to those who die in mortal sin. Blessed are those whom death will find in Your most holy will, for the second death shall do them no harm.” – St. Francis of Assisi-

We welcome “sister death” with confident abandonment to the will and mercy of the Father and we offer into his hands our life, as an act of final praise and sacrifice.

We always remember our sisters who have embraced sister death and have passed on in prayer.

From St. Francis Province we remember and pray for the following sisters:

Cross

We the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi are called to live with perfection what the Spirit has given the church through St. Francis; minority, love of the cross, poverty, and a desire to perfectly live the gospel of Christ.
